In an industry where most review sites are quietly paid, we would rather tell you exactly how this one earns its money.
Yes, some links pay us
When you click through to a proprietary trading firm or a broker from this site and open an account or buy an evaluation, that company may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and in some cases you get a discount you would not have had otherwise.
Commission on prop firm evaluations is typically a percentage of the fee you pay, commonly somewhere between 8 and 20 percent depending on the firm. Broker programmes usually pay either a one-time amount for a qualified account or a share of the spread on trades. These are the standard structures across the whole industry.
What a commission does not buy
- It does not buy a score. Scores are set before any commercial conversation.
- It does not buy a place on the site. We refuse firms we would not use ourselves.
- It does not buy silence. Where a firm we earn from has a weakness, that weakness is written in the review.
- It does not buy removal of a warning. We have never removed one and we will not.
How we choose who to list
A firm has to have a verifiable operating history and a public record of paying traders. Given that roughly 80 to 100 proprietary trading firms shut down during 2024 alone, this is the single most important filter we apply, and it excludes most of the companies that approach us.
We also weigh trading conditions, the fairness of the rules, the quality of support, whether swap-free accounts are available, and how realistically a trader in North Africa can actually access the firm. All of that is visible in the scorecard on every review.
How you can tell
Every affiliate link on this site is marked. Partner boxes inside articles carry a disclosure line, affiliate links use a rel attribute that identifies them as sponsored, and they route through our own redirect address so that they are easy to recognise. If you would prefer not to use them, type the company name into a search engine instead. The articles are free either way and nothing on the site is hidden behind a click.
The other half of our income
A small number of traders each month use our done-for-you setup service, described on the Get Funded page. That is a paid service with a price stated openly before anyone commits to anything, and no payment is processed on this website.
Found a problem?
If you think a review reads like it was bought, tell us and say why. We will either correct the article or explain the reasoning publicly. Write to us on the contact page.
