Read this once, properly. It is short, it is written in plain language, and it describes the single most important thing about everything else on this website.
Trading carries substantial risk
Trading leveraged products such as currency pairs, contracts for difference, indices, metals and crypto involves a high level of risk and can result in the loss of all the money you commit. Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains. Regulated brokers that are required to publish the figure typically report that a large majority of retail accounts lose money, commonly in the range of 70 to 80 percent.
Never trade with money you need, money you have borrowed, or money whose loss would change your life. If losing the amount would be a serious problem, the amount is too large.
Evaluation fees are not investments
A proprietary trading firm evaluation fee buys you an attempt at an assessment. It is not a deposit, it is not held for you, and it is not returned if you do not pass. Published industry figures put the share of traders who pass an evaluation at roughly 5 to 14 percent, and the share of all challenge buyers who ever receive a payout at roughly 7 percent. Treat any fee you pay as spent at the moment you pay it.
Nothing here is advice
Everything published on this website is general education and commentary. It is not investment advice, financial advice, legal advice or tax advice, and it does not take account of your personal circumstances, objectives or financial situation. We are not licensed financial advisers and we do not manage money for anyone.
We do not accept deposits, we do not hold client funds, and we never trade an account on behalf of another person.
No performance promises
We do not promise, project or guarantee any return, any monthly percentage, any pass rate, or any outcome whatsoever. Where we cite industry figures we state their source and we mark uncertain figures as uncertain. Past results, including any results shown by a firm, a broker or another trader, do not predict future results.
Third parties
Links to proprietary trading firms, brokers and tools point to independent companies we do not control. Their terms, rules, fees and payout policies are theirs and can change at any time. Always read the current terms on the company own website before paying anything. Some of these links earn us a commission, which is explained in our affiliate disclosure.
Local rules are your responsibility
Financial regulation, exchange control rules and tax treatment differ by country and change over time. It is your responsibility to understand and follow the rules that apply where you live. Where we describe rules in Tunisia or elsewhere, we do so as general orientation and not as legal advice. For anything significant, speak to a qualified local lawyer or accountant.
